A: The registration process requires that you respond to the registration confirmation e-mail that is sent to the e-mail account you have registered with. This ensures that you have registered with a valid e-mail address that belongs to you.
If you have registered but not responded to the automated registration e-mail by clicking through on the link in the e-mail body then do so now. If you have not got the e-mail it is possible that it has been:
1. Typed incorrectly, or
2. Tagged as spam by your e-mail spam filter. If the e-mail spam filter is managed by yourself, check your junk (or spam) e-mail folder. It is entirely possible that the spam filtering on your mailbox is out of your direct control. You can either contact your mailbox administrator and ask them to allow e-mail from hchnet.co.uk (78.105.2.100) or let us know so we can manually activate your account.
A: This is only available to members of the HCH school community, so cannot be published here on the public Internet. If you are a member of the school community then please contact either Shelley or Naomi on 020 8943 0889. Alternatively, fill in this e-mail request form.
A: For ease of use, the HCHNET frontpage, and some other content, including the site user registration page, is in the public domain and freely available on the Internet. Therefore, in theory, anyone can access and register for a user account. As this is the case, we need to manually approve each registration request by checking your details against our records. As we are a working school, this adds a small additional burden to the workload of our busy administration staff, but it is a necessary and important step to protect your privacy.
Please be patient while waiting for your registration confirmation. We envisage It should only take a few hours, or overnight at worst.
